Instructions to Authors

Submission of manuscripts
Primary research papers may be received by the Editors or to a memberof the Editorial Board and after review by two expert referees willbe forwarded to the Editors with recommendations concerningpublication. Review articles will be solicited by the Editors or theEditorial Board.

Submission of an article is understood to imply that the article isoriginal and unpublished and is not being considered for publicationelsewhere. Preparation of primary research manuscripts
It is preferred that, if possible, the manuscript be prepared on anIBM compatible word processor and sent on either a 51/4 in or31/2 in floppy disk along with one hard copy of the manuscript withoriginal drawings. Alternatively, three copies of the manuscriptincluding original drawings may be submitted.

Title: The title should be concise and clearly convey to thereader the nature of the contents of the paper.

Address: The name(s) of the author(s) and the name and addressof the institute where the research work was done should be indicatedon the manuscript. The name of the author to whom correspondenceshould be addressed should be indicated.

Abstract: An abstract of not more than 100 words containing thekeywords of the paper as well as the essence of the results isrequired.

Use of IUPAC nomenclature and SI units and symbolsis strongly recommended.

Formulae: Displayed formulae should be numbered and typed orunambiguously written by hand. Symbols requiring different type, likevectors, tensors, etc. should be identified properly in thetypescript. Special attention should be paid to characters that caneasily be misread, such as i (lower case), I (cap.), l (el), 1 (one),`(prime), o (lower case), O (cap), 0 (zero), tex2html_wrap_inline2824(degree), u, v, tex2html_wrap_inline2758 (Greek nu), V (cap.), x, X, X, z, Z, p, P, tex2html_wrap_inline2754 (Greekrho), etc.

P. Hobza and R. Zahradník, Intermolecular Complexes,Elsevier, Amsterdam, 1988, p. 102.

Or for edited works:

M.T. Bowers in J.P. Maier (Ed.), Ion and Cluster IonSpectroscopy and Structure, Elsevier, Amsterdam, 1989, p. 241.

(b) for periodicals:

J.A. Pople, B. Tidor and P.v.R. Schleyer, Chem. Phys. Lett. 88,439 (1982).

The title of the periodical must be abbreviated according to thesystem used in Chemical Abstracts.
