The Pain Clinic focuses on the clinical methods used and the problemsinvolved in the diagnosis and treatment of persistent and recurrenttypes of pain.

The journal provides a forum in which pain clinicians can exchangenew ideas and experiences and communicate, on an international basis,information on methods of pain prevention, diagnosis and treatment.These are topics which bridge the gap between many differentspecialized areas of medicine. An international editorial board,which includes experts in several different fields, reflects andmaintains the journal's multidisciplinary nature.
