Multidiscipline Modeling in Materials and Structures is a new, international journal which aims to publish original and creativeresearch contributions relating to multidiscipline modeling, design, optimization in materials and structures. It covers contributions fromnot only the classical subdivisions, but also from recently developingareas and interdisciplinary subjects. Meanwhile it provides a platformto researchers for the rapid exchange of ideas and techniques inmultidiscipline interaction science and applications.

Manuscripts in multidiscipline design, optimization and analysis inmaterials and structures, pertaining to fundamental theories andprinciples, analytical and symbolic approaches, computationaltechniques, experimental exploration, are encouraged.

Topics of interest include but are not limited to:

tex2html_wrap_inline2707 Solid mechanics, general mechanics, fluid mechanics andthermal mechanics, as well as their interaction in materials and structures

tex2html_wrap_inline2707 Multidiscipline bases of material design and production aswell as mechanic behavior

tex2html_wrap_inline2707 Multidiscipline structural design, optimization and analysis

tex2html_wrap_inline2707 Multiscale ( micro, meso and macro) study in materials andstructures

tex2html_wrap_inline2707 Applications in engineering

No limitations in number of pages for contributions are set, but onlyconcisely written manuscripts are published. Brief papers are publishedas Rapid Communications. Discussions of papers previously published arewelcome.

Audience

This new journal will be of interest to all researchers in the areas ofphysics, mathematics, mechanics, materials and engineering application.
