This book deals with some inverse problems of mathematical physics. Thechoice of material was determined by the author's interest in the latestdevelopments in this field. The results presented have been published indifferent mathematical journals, but have been partly revised beforeinclusion in this volume. The book does not aim to give a systematicpresentation of the theory of inverse problems but introduces some newmethods for studying inverse problems and gives obtained results, whichare related to the conditional well posedness of the problems. The mainfocus lies on time-domain inverse problems for hyperbolic equations. Thefinal chapter deals with the kinetic transport equation.
This monograph will be of value and interest to anyone working inmathematical physics.
