Geochemical methods of prospecting for and evaluation ofminerals are applied widely today at all stages of geologicalexploration. However, geochemical methods of prospecting for manyclasses of non-metallic minerals have not been elaborated.

This volume is the first to collect the existing data on geochemicalprospecting for non-metals, which is valuable in view of the anticipatedincrease of consumption and utilization of non-metallic minerals in thefuture.
